  5. It's funny that people want to take about being unhealthy when eating keto. So many people eat out everyday or every other day and don't eat whole grains, beans, fruits and vegetables in the first place. They have no energy and are over weight. I was that person. I eat keto and after going to the doctor and having new tests run everything is back to normal. Most people on keto try to eat organic whole foods that you actually cook….nothing processed. If eating keto is unhealthy I'd rather eat keto than go back to eating fast food or processed junk every day of my life. I've been on it for 3 1/2 months and I've lost 45 pounds. #ketoforlife

Dear Nutritionist, please tell me: Where are the studies that prove that what we've been eating for fifty years – you know, all the wonderful things that got so many of us sick, fat, tired and depressed – is good for us. Don't bother, I have the answer: There are none! Just because you have been brainwashed into believing that we need to eat a "well-balanced" (carb-laden) diet doesn't mean that this is really so.

  22. I don’t agree that ketosis is taxing on the organs. Insulin spikes are taking on the liver! And they didn’t even mention the anti-cancer properties of keto! I’m keto and watch these videos to keep my momentum and to inspire me when I’m feeling like eating my kids’ food (they aren’t keto but do wat healthier than the SAD) but then the traditionally trained drs and nutritionist ANNOY me. Egg yolks are good for you…salt your foods ( Himalayan salt)…cook with butter and lard…eat bacon and beef…we are designed to live on vegetables and meats……throw away all your grains like rice, oatmeal, wheat, breads, pastas, all sugars all carbs. You don't need them and they are not an essential nutrient. Every doctor that knows nutrition knows fats and proteins are the needed macro nutrients, not carbs, carbs and sugar make you fat by spiking your insulin…look it up if you're in doubt. Fats and proteins are essential and your body runs more efficient on fats. But you must cut the sugars for the fat burning to begin and you may even get flu-like symptoms from your sugar addiction but it will pass. On YouTube see Dr. Boz, Dr. Berry, Dr. Berg, Dr. Fung, , Fledgefitness, (These doctors and people actually heal cancer and diabetes and big pharma doctors are trying to shut them up. Dr. Warburg discovered the cure for cancer in 1931 but was told to go away because "There's no money in the cure" (cut sugars and cancer dies). So don't be fooled anymore, search up "keto diet" and "intermittent fasting" to lose weight, get healthy and heal all your ailments.

I still eat carbs but healthy ones. The Keto diet is awful and puts a strain on your heart. She's still overweight and I'm not. When I first went to her I talked to her about it. She said she will help me drop the weight. It worked. 6 meals a day with carbs. Notice she doesn't look like her after photo today. She's put some of the weight back on.

They know the key to being healthy is what we put in our bodies. Anyone thinks they're gonna admit it. Besides that, doctors have been wrong before. They're not God.

  29. Excess saturated fat and animal products harms probably A LOT of people. This 'mutant' lady happens to tolerate it with apparent early advantages but most probably severely detrimental long term consequnces. There is a ton of evidence that the OPPOSITE of this keto is health promoting (see nutritionfacts.org). I speak from painful keto experience. Btw: Cutting sugar is known to improve health, its not a discovery by the keto freaks.

  30. This "nutritionist" needs to be quiet.  Keto works like no other diet ever. I will never go back to the standard American diet!  50lbs down and still going.  Feeling GREAT!

  31. Watch movies back in 50 60 and 70’s. People were thinner back than as a whole. The more fat free foods they had added the fatter we have become.

  32. Well Keto literally saved my life. I've been overweight most of my life & no diet or exercise routine worked for me. I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem & I was pre-diabetic.   34. I have been doing Keto for 6 weeks now. I have lost 40 lbs so far. I don't stop breathing anymore when I sleep, I snore a lot less loudly… so my wife says and my energy level has gone up. Keto is not that hard. My main focus is making sure my calories aren't high during the day. My highest are my fats and proteins. I love Keto

  35. The issue with high carb diets is the food cravings. People eventually give in and eat so they don’t work.

Keto is done with intermittent fasting in different windows, ie 16 8 means 8 hours where you eat often 2 to 3 meals no snacks, low carb, moderate protein, etc and then you fast for the other hours, reaching ketosis, ie burning your fat for energy. I do 19 5 on average, 2 meals, one light and one medium. The IF is the main part of the ketosis so they go together.

  40. I have been on the keto diet for over a year, lost over 80 pounds, and never felt better!! Labs to prove it!! Still got a ways to go but its amazing!!!! And the food is just real food. not junk. She is so wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. Nutritionist and majority of doctors they don't like the keto lifestyle or even the fasting lifestyle. Anything out or from the american standard diet bothers the health profession. Yep that will mess with those pockets.

  43. That Doctor does not know what she is talking about. The long term study is the way we ate 70+ years without all the processed junk and added sugar. Back then there were not many overweight people, under 1% type 2 diabetics and very little heart problems

  44. What an ignorant nutritionist! You "nutritionists" and "doctors" all say the same because you were all taught the same by the same establishment. You don't research, you copy/paste eachother! The TODAY SHOW should've also done SOME homework for selecting a "real" and well-educated nutritionist. The TODAY SHOW could've just typed: "Keto nutritionist" on Google and pick 1 of the 1000's out there. You don't need a college degree!
