What Are The Root Causes of Hashimoto’s Disease?

– Hi guys. I really gotta work on my,
like, hello guys, introduction. Maybe I should, like, make up
a little, like, boppy tune. Anyway, that’s not what
this video is about. This video is about letting you guys know the key or the main root causes I see in relation to thyroid issues of, in particular, Hashimoto’s. So, the underlying root
causes for a lot of people come down to about five or so categories. We could go more, we could
go less. Let’s see how we go. So, number one would be
an inflammatory diet. So if you’re eating foods
that you are intolerant to or are quite inflammatory. Number two would be nutrient deficiencies, and I’ve done a video on
common nutrient deficiencies that you can have a listen to. Number three would be any kind of environmental toxin exposure. So that could be if you are using a lot of conventional
personal care products or you’re exposed to chemicals
in terms of how you work. It could be if you’ve been
exposed to some kind of mould, like mould toxicity is another big one. And then the next one would be
anything related to your gut. So I see this a lot. So parasites, dysbiosis, so an imbalance of good and bad bacteria, SIBO, which is when
bacteria that should be in your large intestine overgrow
in your small intestine, and that’s really, really
common in thyroid issues, and I’m gonna do a video
on it at some point because it is really interesting, at least to me and hopefully to you. And then any kind of
candida or yeast overgrowth, so if you’re someone who
gets a lot of thrush or UTIs or you know that you’ve
got a candida overgrowth where you just, kind
of, that kind of thing comes up a lot for you. And then what else? Stress, so any kind of
adrenal burnout, you know, chronic stress that’s
going on in your body. And then the final really common one I see is chronic viral infections. So that might be a low
grade viral infection that you may not even be aware of. So that’s where actually
screening yourself comes into play, and or testing. And we do, we go through
all of these root causes in Thyroid Rescue because
it is so important. So we have quizzes on every
single one of those things and we make sure that if you are coming up as a high or moderate risk that you have protocols
to actually go through and address that because until you address your unique root causes, it just won’t go away. Like, you have to, have to, find and fix your unique root causes, which you may have more than one, in order to actually heal. Because a thyroid condition
is more, like Hashimoto’s, is more, like, an immune dysregulation. So your immune system is
attacking your thyroid and we need to know why. Medication is really
helpful in terms, like, for a lot of people in
terms of a bit of, like, a tool in the toolkit or a band-aid or just part
of the overall process of helping your body create enough thyroid and have enough thyroid hormone. But it doesn’t fix the
attack that’s going on in your thyroid, so we really need to make sure we do that. And the way that we do
that is absolutely through addressing the root causes, and it’s not exclusive to Hashimoto’s. So same deal with Graves’ disease and also same deal if you just
have an underactive thyroid, and you’re like why the
fuck is it underactive? I don’t have Hashimoto’s. Some of these other root causes
can still be there for you because they drive inflammation, which inhibits your conversion
of active thyroid hormone, sorry, inactive thyroid hormone
to active thyroid hormone and those thyroid hormones
getting into the cell and actually being able to do something. So, lots of information there. If you have any questions, let me know. If you’re interested in
finding your unique root causes and you wanna finally heal your thyroid, then come join us in Thyroid Rescue. It’s such a great programme and
we’re having amazing results and I would love to have you on board and help you just finally get some relief from your symptoms and really
understand what’s going on so that it’s not a problem for life. It’s something that you feel
like you have control over, ’cause you do and your body
is always working for you and always wants you to heal. It just needs the right tools.
