  1. I'm so excited for you. I had this surgery several years ago. While I lost hair after, it came back in. I can go without a wig. However my hair remains thin from meds, autoimmune illness and hereditary hair loss. Wigs look prettier. I'm sure you'll follow all your doctor's instructions. I'm excited to follow your journey! โค๏ธ Sharon

  11. Good luck, Heather! At this moment, though, I'm kind of in shock. I had bariatric surgery ten years ago and no one said one word to me about possible hair loss. Wowsers. I"m looking forward to following along with you. <3

  12. . I'm so happy for you. I know you will conquer anything that comes your way.I've watched you do it before. Who else would stand on a windy balcony overlooking the Ocean in Great Britain while suffering another bout of Polycystic ovary syndrome reviewing a wig and actually looking happy about it.God Bless. We are all rooting for you..

  13. Good luck, follow the doctor's orders diligently to avoid side effects, consider group therapy or a therapist for encouragement. Even with surgery, losing weight, keeping it off and staying healthy is a herculean task.

  14. All the very best. You have given me so much help over the last couple of years, regarding hair loss and the embracing of wigs. I am sure that you will benefit from your on going medical issues. We are all here (The Cysterhood) to support and encourage.

  15. Hi Heather ๐Ÿ™‚ My doc recommended WLS last year, but I decided against it. Anyway, hope you have a quick recovery and thanks for opening up about your journey. I'm sure it'll help a lot of people!
