Lisa’s gastric band diary – Week 24


Hi everybody. So this week has been a
really really good week. I’ve had another loss, and things are actually
going really really well. I’m really really happy. So I’ve lost another two
pound. Obviously it’s not a huge amount but you know over the last few weeks, you know, things weren’t really going very well, so I’m really really happy that
I’ve lost that. I’m actually getting closer and closer to coming out the
15-stone Club. So that’s like a goal for me that I’m really really trying to
get to now. If I can get, you know, to 15 stone within the next couple of
weeks, I will be really really happy because I have not been 15 stone for
such a long time and I am really really starting to feel it now. I’m feeling
so much more comfy in my clothes. You know, I feel that I’ve got so much more
energy and I’m eating so much more healthier food now. Sometimes I
just look back and think, you know, about the food I was actually eating, you
know post, sorry pre op and it was just so unhealthy. So unhealthy and I
wonder why I felt as lethargic and you know, as kind of down as I did, and
it was just all crap really that’s all it was and the food i’m eating now it’s healthy, it’s
fresh, it’s you know keeping me full. Obviously I’ve still not had my third
fill yet but, you know, I can feel it when I’m eating the food with the
the crunchier textures. I can feel difference and it’s keeping me full
now. Yeah I’m just, I’m really really happy. I do still need a third fill, but
you know, I’m in a really really good place now so I am really really
happy. I am on the verge, I don’t want to jinx it, but I
am on the verge of dropping another dress size. So when I started I
was a dress size 22. Now an 18 and I’m very comfy 18. So it is starting to
get a little bit baggy. Top wise, I’m finding that eighteens are still fitting
me, quite well. But in bottoms wise, in jeans, you know, trousers, skirts I
think I’m probably gonna, well hopefully fingers crossed, be going into a 16 any
time soon so. I’m getting closer to my goal. I really am and that’s is just
an amazing feeling I never thought that I’d be anywhere near that so I’m so
happy. So weight loss goal for next week is gonna be another 2 pounds and
hopefully I’ll do it. I’m feeling really really positive. I think a will! so I
