  1. how to fix a running toilet?
go to a hardware store, buy a leash
    put it on the toilet
tie it to a door handle

  2. I wish I just saw this video instead of the stupid videos i had seen up to this point. Thisone seems to cover the wholr lot properly.

  3. So when the rest of the world is out of natural resources then what happens? ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ? ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ? โœŒ๐Ÿ‘ฎ

  4. I am really glad u posted this. All I had to do was tightened the screw on my flat valve.(or at least I think that's what it is) glad I did have to call a plumber out. No telling how much I would pay for them to only tightened a lil screw

  5. 2500 times a year. So more than 6 times a day?! Well then I must be abnormal because it's more like 3-4 for me.

  6. uh i lowered my float and the water just goes over it. did the dye test and theres no leakage, so what could be my problem?

  7. Thank you. I used red food coloring, saw a leak, removed the flap, cleaned off some slippery scum buildup, and fixed the intermittent running in five minutes.ย  I think.ย  At least so far it's better.ย  Great video.

  8. This is the best video for that runny toilet. It is an easy to understand and it saves you money in hiring a plumber.

  9. Thaaaaanks a loooooot!!! Appreciate you making all the necessary information present in this video. Hope you continue to do more troubleshooting videos. ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. Thank you so much! My mom put one of those toilet bowl cleaners inside and it was in the way of my flapper! I felt like a pro plumber after pushing the flapper in its place and moving the cleaning tablet out of the way.

  11. useless. Still running..and running…and running. She's like, "got to the store and get replacement parts." Maybe SHOW us HOW to REPLACE the damn thing?ย

  12. Why the overlapping dual subtitles? If you're going to offer an instructional repair video, the very least that you can do for your viewing audience is ensure that the presentation is clear. By the way, I have lowered my float to the bottom to preclude the continual running … yet it continues to run.

What might be the problem here? If I manually lift the horizontal lift-mechanism arm, it does indeed shut off. We have to do this with ever flush.

  13. thanks simple fix! Toilet has been running for about 3months! had to manually stop it after each flush smh. Now my water bill shall decrease $25

  14. Excellent – – if this helped me, everyone else will be a piece of cake – and my toilet is "quiet" for the first time in months. THANKS.

  15. my toilet was running , i watched this video and as i watching the running stopped thanks ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  16. the toilet is making a little bit of noise. However, I did the dye test and water is not leaking into the bowl. What would the noise be coming from? Since the water is not leaking into the bowl should I worry about it?

  17. Thanks so much my toilet was running all day watched this video realized the chain to the flapper was tangled untangled now no running thanks!!!!!

  18. Its so funny that we call plumbers just to fix a 2sec problem and it would cost an arm and a leg when u could just do it yourself for free lol LIFE!
