Healthy High Protein Snacks | Blossom Bariatrics | Las Vegas


Hi, I’m Michele Phelan, Nutritionist at Blossom
Bariatrics. Today we’re going to discuss a few very helpful tips for bariatric patients.
Here’s a few ideas for some high-protein snacks in between your meals, beef jerky, turkey
jerky works really well if you like them. You can choose low sodium if you like. Raw
veggies, you can even have hummus, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa with these as well. Many
patients find that nuts work wonderfully, almonds, pistachios, walnuts, cashews. All
of these work as snacks. Deli meat and cheese is another fantastic choice. You can roll
a few up and have those as snacks. You can even roll them up with a slice of cheese as
well, and there’s some really good protein bars out there. Two of the ones I always recommend
to our patients is Quest protein bars. It’s a very clean and delicious protein bar, very
high protein. Another one that I really like and that I recommend a lot is the Power Crunch
