Chicharon Bituka | Isaw | Pulutan Recipe | Crispy Intestine | Panlasang Pinoy


Hi, welcome to Panlasang Pinoy! How are you all doing? Today, we’ll be changing things up This recipe will be perfect since it’s a weekend today, or it’s almost a weekend for some of you This time, we’ll be making Chicharon Bituka This is simple to make and here are the ingredients we’ll need Of course, we’ll need intestines (pork or beef intestine) Here, I’m using small intestines from a cow It’s very important to make sure these are well-cleaned So make sure the intestines are washed thoroughly after buying them Next, we’ll need some vinegar Salt Bay leaves and whole black pepper We’ll also need water and cooking oil Now, let’s begin making our Chicharon Bituka Our first step is to boil water in a large pot, like this one Next, once the water is boiling, add salt So, we’ll just add the salt After adding the salt, add the vinegar These are for neutralizing the smell of the intestines Since we all know what’s been inside the intestines, it’s good that we already cleaned it earlier So, we’re safe with that. At the same time, we need to make sure that we get rid of the smell. And of course, we also won’t taste what’s been inside Once we’ve added the salt and vinegar, we can now add the intestines Like the beef intestines I’m using today So here are the intestines Do this carefully or the hot water might splatter on us Now that the water with the small intestines are boiling, we can now add the whole peppercorns And the bay leaves So, let’s start with the bay leaves. I use a lot of these to help neutralize the smell And here’s the whole peppercorn Then cover it, and let it cook in low heat for about 40 minutes After we finish boiling the intestines, they will look like this Since it was very long earlier, I also cut them up into shorter pieces The next step is to add the rest of the salt to the intestines Just distribute the salt Let’s mix the salt well with the beef intestines Mix it well, since the salt will serve as the seasoning, and then we can deep fry it afterwards Now, we’ll heat up some oil Use a lot of oil, since the intestines will be deep fried We’ll know the oil is hot enough when it starts making crackling sounds If you add a drop of water into the oil and the oil starts riling up and making noise, That means it’s ready for us to add the intestines and fry them Remember to add them carefully, since deep frying can be dangerous from the oil splatter Just add them in for frying And then, keep an eye on this until the intestines turn crispy When the intestines float to the top of the oil, like this And if the texture seems hard or crispy, that means they’re ready So, take them out one at a time We’ll take another container And then, after this, we’ll serve our Chicharon Bituka As you can see, it’s now crispy This will go great with beer I’d like to greet my fellow Filipinos that I didn’t get to greet in the previous video Those who are in Japan, how are you guys doing there? Share q lang po yong ginagawa q if nagloloto aq ng checharon na bitoka.kahit anong uri ng bitoka magtatanggal yong amoy Kong lalamasin mona ng asin at suka.after malamas ng asin at suka babaliktarin yong bitoka at lalamasin din ng asin at suka.then hugasang mabuti bago pakukuloan.while magpapakulo ihalo na Ang lemon grass sa makukulong tubig at lagyan ng asin at suka pamintang durog at lawrel.pakuloan ito ng 30min at e drain ito.after that pwd ng efry…
