Hey guys. My name is Adewale and I’m the creator of Walefit.com. And in today’s video, we’re going to be talking about the best diet to lose weight fast. In order to make any diet work for you, you need to know the basic, and to be able to implement the diet the right way so you can get the best results. Okay so, the best diet to lose weight fast, in my opinion is going to be the ketogenic diet also known as the keto diet. And what’s the ketogenic diet? It’s basically an extremely low carb, high fat diet. So your body relies on its own body fat as a source of energy. And on the keto diet, your insulin, which is your fat storing hormone, is dropped greatly, which then turns your body into a fat-burning machine. Now while on this diet, the breakdown of your macros, of your daily macros should be somewhere around 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% only 5 percent carbs. Now my advice for you is this, even though the ketogenic diet is very effective, here’s just a few tips I want you to take away from this video. Tip number one. Keep it straightforward and strict, meaning your carbs needs to be as low as possible, at least for the first month, for this diet to be effective. Tip number two. Drink lots of water and supplement with electrolytes. One of the most common problems with this diet is dehydration. So you want to drink lots of water, or… and/or you want to add salt to your food and take multivitamins. Tip number 3. Track what you eat. It’s going to be very easy to over-consume on carbs, because carbs are in everything. So by tracking, you’re going to be able to control your carb intake. And it’s also going to hold you accountable.
