A song for the Wilderness First Responder in all of us.

A song for the Wilderness First Responder in all of us.

I was hiking one day out in the woods,
When I came across a guy who didn’t look to good.
Having trouble breathing, and his chest is flailed,
And I can see his small intestine because he\’s been impaled.
You don’t know how lucky you are, I’m WFR. So you’re stomach’s hurtin, makin funny sounds.
Probably shouldn’t have eaten that fish that you picked up off the ground.
Don’t you worry. I know just what to do. Can you describe the pain, and what color
is your poo? You don’t know how lucky you are, I’m WFR. So you’re unresponsive, and your skin is blue.
You’re hypothermic and you’ve got some frostbite too.
Let’s find some shelter, it’s not too far. I know to warm you up before starting CPR.
You don’t know how lucky you are, I’m WFR. HI, BSI, SAMPLE, DOTS, OPQRST, HR, RR, BP,
PERRL, SCTM, CSM, FSA, BEAM, FOAM, SOAP, TLA I’m WFR.
