#03 Things to do to BECOME HEALTHY- My weight loss JOURNEY


it’s a beautiful morning at the cabin
look at that Sun coming up over the hill over there
absolutely gorgeous beautiful not sure how well it’s gonna come out on camera
but to my regular eye it looks fantastic I am still feeling a little bit queasy
from last night I bad caramel popcorn did not do me well at all I’m gonna
start over again today we’re gonna have a great day I’m super excited I’m just
getting ready to do my water get ready to start drinking my water with my new
system with my new container today Oh drink more with the straw so mmm I just
kind of want to show you what I’m up against here so you see all these snacks
look at that snacks YUM but we do have some apples that’s very good and we do
have some of these that’s very good lots and lots of snacks around here hang on I
feel like there’s something over here too let’s see what they have here ah yes
M&Ms and more popcorn but you know I’m staying away from that I think I’m gonna
hold off on eating for just a little while this morning just trying to hope
my stomach feels a little bit better so I’ll show you my breakfast when I when I
eat I’d like to introduce you to one of my really good friends Essie this is my
friend Essie she’s trying to finish the puzzle before any of the other girls get
up I wonder if she’s gonna do it let’s see how much there is to do I think
she’s more or less got it down to the nitty-gritty trying to really get the
end pieces I’ve just got to show you more of this it’s just so beautiful and
I feel so fortunate for all the years that I’ve been able to come up here and
have a weekend with my friends the woman whose dad and my mom and dad owned the
place are selling and so they’re not good we’re not gonna be coming up this
is gonna be our very last time but look at how awesome it is
you have the playground a little sitting area and
picnic places and then over here they’ve got a what is that a horseshoe pit but
how nice is that and then this thing looks like
tetherball but look it’s even got the instructions on it and everything where
you supposed to stand and serve and I mean it’s just awesome and underneath
here underneath where I am right now there is a huge where you get in it’s
the hot water with a hot tub a huge hot tub and look the little sandpit with
trucks and then this building right there is a like an outbuilding but it
has beds it sleeps like on a 15 or something people it’s just awesome look
at that down there just more barbecues for families to assemble and see look in
the window you still got se working on the puzzle it’s just it’s just amazing
and I just feel so thankful and so happy that I’ve been able to come here for all
these years oh here look there’s se again and the MS that we won’t notice
those here’s more in the front these awesome places to sit and little picnic
tables I think you could probably have a hundred people here oh here’s the front
of the little outhouse thing down there outbuilding and a hammock it’s just so
great hey this is my friend Angie another one of the girls that I’ve been
hanging out with for what 20 years 18 years 17 19 years wasn’t like that it’s
her parents who owns this cabin she’s gonna record me doing my 20 20 20 no say
hi okay right now we go switch places cuz I got
to be over here because the Sun is behind me it’s pretty bright so I’m gonna start with my push-ups and
I used to do my push-ups just against the wall because that was easier and I’m
not at the point where I can do them on the work but I’ll just doing up against
this my ladies at my class told me I don’t have to straighten my art and I
have to do modified for my knees okay and I’m not gonna do my sit-ups here
because I don’t want to be on this hardwood floor so I’m just gonna do
touch my toes where’s our son says doesn’t help much or doesn’t do much but
I swore it must do something for my abdomen so I’m gonna do that anyhow for
each one it’s a good stretch anyway uh-huh
it’s a good stretch anyway yeah okay now the pièce de résistance which is
my squat and sometimes when I’m doing my squats I break them up I’ll do 10 and
then I’ll do 10 later the good thing about sconces I can do them anywhere and
if my son were here I would be able to hold on but he’s not here what if I tell
him right nope I go longer mm-hmm doing better than I do usually
our class had us doing jumping jacks and some of the ladies were like I’ve had
four kids this isn’t working for me so we do tie squats where you just barely
bounce from a squat out to your toes a little bit and back instead of really
jumping it’s still a good cardio hopefully my food is good today as my
20-20-20 was today nice time thank you thanks for recording thanks
for your tips it’s looking good here for breakfast it
looks like we’re having veg fruit whatever we have them for
breakfast somebody I’m gonna have a yogurt parfaits you have yogurt parfait YUM that seems healthy okay thanks okay I’m getting ready to go on my walk
it probably won’t be the full one-hour walk but I do have the girls with me Z
they’re my walking partners today do you have are you’re all in there right one
two three four there you go I’m going to take an awesome walk down this hill
hopefully I don’t fall but you know hopefully no one Falls actually okay for
today’s walk I kind of thought we’d be walking on the road but apparently we’re
walking down this huge hill which I don’t know I’m not a genius but I have a
feeling I have to walk back up it so maybe I’m gonna get more exercise than
normal today how far are we walking when do we get on a road we don’t we usually
walk on the road here I don’t know why we wouldn’t I don’t know why you
wouldn’t I’m not sure why but they’re having us go in really weird places like
over there it says private property no trespassing
so we probably want to go there still not sure where we’re not on the road
seems like that would be a much easier walk to take but apparently they’re more
adventurous than I am Road Road I’m calling for a road yeah
yeah I think it was reindeer poop oh I can’t wait to walk up that hill okay
okay I’m gonna just be even more fit okay
you may notice from the heavy breathing I’m back up at the top of the hill that
was so much fun okay this is much better now we’re walking on the road I like
this they tell me that they’re gonna leave me when we get to the top and go
down the ravine which they neglected to mention earlier but apparently that’s
what they’re doing let’s go back to the cabin I think that was totally worth the
walk because now we have a what a natural spring to look at is that what
we’re saying a natural spring with a little bit of ice that’s the that was
the perk of walking on the road right the road led to the spring the girls were making jokes about
whether or not that was a natural spring and one of them said oh my gosh it could
be natural because it’s warmer since there’s ice on the other part we all
thought that was super smart of her looks like we’re heading back I think
they’re gonna try to take me up off road hill instead of going before we get back
to the hill to go back to the cabin are you guys taking me off road again just a
little off road okay I think that’s ice fishing yeah we know about natural
springs ice fishing and the thing freezing and paw prints of Cougars or
Bobcats okay we’re back on the road perfectly happy about that whoa
made it you
