skimmed milk is healthier! avoiding fats altogether
so they can lose weight because fats are
“extremely dangerous” And ditching yolk to
lower their Cholesterol If you are one of these people then this episode is made for

with Dr. Kareem Ali This episode focuses mainly on “fat” People tend to misperceive
fat whenever it comes to diet The whole thing started
in the late Sixties When Dr. Ancel Keys hypothesized that dietary saturated
fat causes cardiovascular heart disease From that time on the entire world believed that saturated
fat is the main cause of heart diseases Afterward, “fat-free” and “low fat”
products and “skimmed milk” hit the scene From which they removed
fat and added sugar However,
this is not what concerns me What I really care about now is
busting all of these myths about fat But what is “fat” to begin with? “BENEFITS OF FAT” There’s no doubt
that fat is fundamental to your body Actually,
65% of your brain is pure fat Your nerve epinephrine
is also made of fat The 37 trillion cells in your
body are all “bipolar lipid” which means that every single cell
is covered with a double layer of fat Not to mention “lipid-derived

what the hell is a “Polyunsaturated fat” Fats are divided into 3 types The first type is “saturated” which means that it is
filled with Hydrogen atoms “SATURATED FAT” (Solid) and it takes a solid form Like butter for example Butter is very stiff and hard Fatty beef, lamb, cheese,
all contain saturated fat That was the first type The second type is
“unsaturated fat” which means that it is not
fully saturated with Hydrogen “UNSATURATED FAT”(Liquid) It oxidizes when it
receives Oxygen or Hydrogen This is the liquid
form of fat (Oils) What we have learned so far is
saturated fat and unsaturated fat The third type is “Trans
(Hydrogenated) fat” which is basically an unsaturated fat
but spoiled by the messy touch of humans who added an extra Hydrogen atom and
transformed it into “Hydrogenated fats” This is where the demon lurks HYDROGENATED FATS”

of this single type of fat: “Hydrogenated fat” Those was the major
3 types of fats I guess you are wondering how
to consume fats in a healthy way WHAT IS ACTUALLY HARMFUL? It’s widely known that saturated
fat which is found in butter and tallow cause cardiovascular diseases Check the links below
and you will find research proves that saturated fat is
not related to cardiovascular diseases not by any means You know what actually
forms a thrombosis? This tiny blood clot is 25% saturated fat and a whole 75% unsaturated fat Saturated fat only
makes the quarter See? not its fault Seriously? then what is really
behind thromboses? It is high blood sugar I will clarify this soon Now after you’ve already
learned the types of fats Is it OK to eat saturated fats? Of course What about unsaturated fats? Eat them but only when they
are fresh and raw “uncooked” Now ditch all vegetable oils including corn oil, sunflower
oil, canola oil, soybean oil, etc. Just avoid them altogether as they are merely
unnatural fats which can cause
you heart problems You just need to know how to
pick the right fats to eat Now I will simply tell you
what to eat and what to avoid First of all, use saturated
fats like butter only for frying because they are solid and can endure high temperatures About oils You are free to ditch
all artificial oils except for olive oil but
it has to remain uncooked Why? Since it’s an unsaturated fat and the fume that comes out of
it means that it got oxidized and this in turn means
that it can cause cancer and many other disasters So olive oil is OK but beware not any olive oil Only “extra virgin olive oil” What is the difference? and what does
virginity have to do with anything? Extra virgin olive oil is derived
by cold mechanical extraction While the ordinary olive oil is produced by pressing whole
olives in high temperatures which ruins all important
vitamins and enzymes On the other hand, cold temperatures keep
the nutritional value of extra virgin oil So yeah …. olive oil is great You can add it to salad to rice after you cook
the rice of course Don’t ever cook with any other
oil, always keep this in mind Now let’s move to
the third disaster ‘Cooking oils’ and
‘Hydrogenated oils’ You can find them in donuts french fries Kentucky meals fried chicken Do you know that your body
disposes of fried stuff only after 52 days?! It takes your body long 52 days to
completely get rid of these poisons “Hydrogenated oils”
or “fried stuff” Do you know that french fries which
we are so obsessed over is one of the top body-devastating inventions in the 20th century Yeah, french fries! First, we genetically modified
the potatoes by adding hormones then we just flipped
them over oil What a fatal damage
for human beings! In a nutshell, the best to
cook with is ‘cultured butter’ and if you want to put something useful
on your food, you can add olive oil You are free to eat … fish both egg whites and egg yolks nuts avocado coconut oil salmon and tuna All of those contain useful
fats and great for your health And finally …
“Parmigiano-Reggiano” (Parmesan) It’s a little bit expensive Parmesan takes an
entire year to ferment which causes every single chunk to have loads and
loads of Protein and to be lactose-free Parmesan is genuinely a pure Protein
that contains the necessary fats we need It’s worth the price actually Now we know that the real
wolf is Hydrogenated fat which hides in this clothing:
donuts, chocolates, and fried stuff Just avoid them and stay safe Also, keep an eye on your calories,
so that your gallbladder remains intact And .. welcome to the safe zone “New Horizons” Now let’s talk about “superfoods”
and where to find good fats “GOOD FATS EXAMPLES” Actually, three of the ‘global list of
superfoods’ are foods that contain fats The whole world agrees on this I can spend the rest of this episode
talking about the benefits of those three The first one is
“natural butter” both cow butter and sheep butter But it has to be taken from naturally-fed
animals, not the hormones-injected And by that I mean
free-range animals from decent farms that
don’t use hormones so you can get an organic
and hormone-free butter Now let’s discover together
the components of butter And yes,
it’s the natural butter you know which is one of the best
foods in the world as it contains all of the necessary
vitamins I mentioned earlier Vitamins that you can’t
just get from the pharmacy like Retinol
(Vitamin A capsules) which dissolves into
Vitamin A within your body Butter vitamins are in the
original, natural and final form Vitamin A for example functions
directly without any transforming We all know the rule of vitamin
K1 which is related to coagulation but we tend to
overlook the rule of K2 In fact,
K2 is the antidote to Cholesterol So guess what?
Butter reduces Cholesterol and is totally innocent
of high cholesterol levels Surprise huh? Again, K2 is the

levels and sperm count in men besides enhancing
the immune system and making new

for diabetics as it helps stabilizing
insulin levels Butter still contains more: Lauric acid Highly important! Also Omega-3 and
Omega-6 fatty acids which are better be equal as an increase in Omega-6 proportion
can harm the heart and cause infections So it’s safer when they are both equal
or even when Omega-3 proportion is higher The fact that they are balanced means
that there’s no room for infections Both are vital to the body I just don’t want to dig
deep in medical information Butter also contains
Stearic acid which has a beneficial role in the
prevention and treatment of Breast Cancer Stearic acid Speaking of Cancer K2 is also an anticancer
to Prostate Cancer Therefore, eating butter (K2)
prevents you from Prostate Cancer Guess you didn’t know
butter is so powerful The cultured butter you have in the
freezer is abundant in nutritional value You know, when I see someone that teaches his son to eat a piece
of butter instead of a chocolate bar I know that this guy is so committed to
the keto diet and is leading a healthy life Now you know why butter
is one of the superfoods The second ‘fatty’
superfood is ‘coconut oil’ Coconut Oil It’s called ‘oil’,
although it comes in a solid form Maybe this is a reference to
the coconut milk extracted It could be called
‘butter’ though Coconut oil contains
medium-chain triglyceride Ah, by the way The fat in butter
is also medium-chain Medium-chain triglycerides never
transform into fats as they burn instantly This means you will never
get fat because of butter As its fat (medium-chain triglycerides)
burns before it has the chance to transform The same applies to Coconut oil Coconut oil which also contains
medium-chain triglycerides gives you an incredible power Coconut oil is low-absorbent and also contains Lauric acid Besides: anti virus,
antibacterial, and antifungal When you simply eat or even
brush your mouth with coconut oil you purify your mouth from all
bacterias, viruses, etc. It also purifies your
entire digestive system The Lauric acid in both coconut
oil and butter finish this job The third ‘fatty’
superfood is ‘avocado’ I know this stuff costs much in Egypt but
still, illness comes at a way bigger price You know, the prevention from
cancer, diabetes, or thromboses is worth a fortune! Avocado contains loads
of very useful fats which immensely
enhance immune system and also doesn’t make you fat Now you know the three
superfoods that contain fat Here you are other healthy
food that contain good fats: almonds, peanuts (without salt) macadamia all nuts in general,
but only a fist-sized proportion which is considered as a full meal that
contains all needed vitamins and minerals including Copper, Selenium, etc. But the proportion shouldn’t exceed your
fist size in order to avoid high calories Again, only a fist-sized
proportion of Nuts And the list goes on:
Salmon, Tuna Heaps of useful fats! Not to mention Shrimp Now let me introduce
one of my best friends eggs I love eggs so much I usually eat from
5 to 10 eggs daily With their yolks I only remove yolks when I’m on a diet
to shred my muscles (clean bulking) But that doesn’t mean yolks are unhealthy,
I remove them only to lower the Calories So sometimes I buy
only egg whites I know you want to know
more about egg yolks but I have to talk
about Cholesterol first which we Egyptians
consider as a nightmare We complain that our
cholesterol levels are high and think it’s because of eggs I just want you to keep something
insanely important in your mind Food Cholesterol and blood
Cholesterol are not the same thing Wait .. what? As you heard, this is something that
has been researched to death actually It became clear as day but we still
avoid eggs because of Cholesterol Meanwhile, Cholesterol makes
the Plasma membrane of the cell Remember when I said that
lipid covers every single cell? So cell membrane is
basically made of Cholesterol Cholesterol also makes Hormones Your body generates 2000
mg of Cholesterol every day yeah that’s true,
because it’s so important So two grams every day? Yesss What happens when the body
receives it from food then? It stops generating Cholesterol
and rests for a while No kidding One egg contains 200
mg of Cholesterol so 10 eggs would be
enough for a single day if you were into
bodybuilding and Testosterone Only natural
Testosterone of course The point here is that eating 10 eggs
in a given day means that your body needs no more Cholesterol in that
day, so it just takes that day off Your Cholesterol generates itself
automatically every day Two grams per day If it weren’t for this natural process,
there would be a lack of Cholesterol as no one would eat 10 eggs or lamb brain
daily and regularly Who the hell would eat a
100-grams brain every day?! Now let’s talk about
milk: whether goat milk camel milk or sheep milk “FAT-FREE DAIRY ILLUSION” Cow milk was already mentioned Some dietitians advise their
patients to drink ‘fat-free milk’ I just want to remind those
brainy doctors of one simple fact God could’ve created
fat-free milk! But HE didn’t, because the fats in milk and
cheese contain all the necessary vitamins So the fats in milk
are substantial And by removing them we also remove Lactase enzyme which aids
the digestion of the Lactose in milk Not to mention removing the useful
fat that prevents Arteriosclerosis Just like that! Therefore, the vitamins:
A, E, D, K, F, and K2 are all gone! This is because we tried to
change the creation of God The creation of God is perfect
and needs no modifications Fat-free milk takes from 15 to 30 minutes
to digest and is high in sugar Unlike the natural milk that
doesn’t increase insulin levels as fat balances Insulin and in turn
stabilizes the digestion process Now you know that fat-free
milk is just a novelty Don’t be misled by any ads
or even tips from dietitians Just enough! Science is developing
and so should you Still don’t believe that fat isn’t
behind heart problems and overweight? I guess you haven’t heard of the fact
that broke out in the last 5 years: “Eating fats is a must even
if you want to lose weight” It’s a proven fact Do you know about
“Ketogenic diet”? If you don’t, then you still have
a lot to learn about a healthy diet You can’t improve your

gets triggered and starts increasing then it starts transforming
cells into fats The same happens
when Protein enters in case you eat much Protein But it’s way different
when fat enters the body as Insulin just stays normal and doesn’t mess
with fat’s cells So fats are good and healthy as
long as you watch your Calories Remember when I called fat “source
of clean energy”? here’s the reason: A Protein/Carbohydrate molecule
breakdown gives 4 Calories whilst a fat molecule gives
9 Calories (for each gram) A real energy boost! This is like maximizing
your car’s horsepower Still, this power depends
on the Calories you get For example, eating 5 kg of lettuce
is not like eating one peanut You have to calculate and
balance your Calories! The fact that fats are good doesn’t mean
that you are free to eat 5 kg of almonds This will make you fat for sure as your body restores
the extra fats So watch your Calories
to benefit from fats and eat small quantities
when Calories are high Secondly Both your heart
and brain need fat Being on a keto diet enables you to: reach the
full potential of your energy feel active all the time even find it hard
to sleep sometimes breath well still feel energetic even
after an intense workout All because you are making the best of
fat energy when you are on a keto diet This was one point (fats
don’t increase Insulin) The second is that fats make you feel full for a
long time as they take time to digest So next time you eat rice add some butter or eat fatty beef with it because this extends the
digestion process duration so it can last up to 12 hours Unlike sugars that only last for
30 minutes then trigger Insulin See? Fat delays digestion so it can stay
longer in your body good and healthy fat of course and nurture you besides
keeping insulin levels normal Now eat less let your body digest smoothly
with normal insulin levels and keep fit Let’s see who really
must be careful with fat First: those who removed
their gallbladder as they can’t digest fats So it’s logical that
fats would hurt them The same goes for those with gallbladder
infection, digestive problems, or colitis as fats hurt them because their
digestion process is troubled Then there’s no need
for fats in their case because they don’t have the
ability to even digest egg yolks especially when the issue is with the
gallbladder whose job is digesting fats Again, avoid fats if you have
issues with your gallbladder Second: those whose Cholesterol
levels are constantly high They must lower their
fats as much as possible But Cholesterol
has nothing to do with that!!! Don’t forget that there’re both
useful and harmful kinds of fat So even if you eat a lot of
useful fats (without burning them) harmful fats may still increase
and result in thromboses Now let’s know what is the relationship
between Cholesterol and thromboses We already know that fats have
nothing to do with thromboses then what really forms them?
let’s see Simply, those who drink alcohol
or eat sugars, chocolates, etc. always have high insulin
levels (because of sugars) We’ve already learned that Insulin
increases at once, what’s after that? Insulin is what hurts blood vessels as it goes
through them like waves of sharp blades The heat of Insulin chews blood vessels continuously until Insulin levels drop
and become normal again What is the body’s reaction? It sends something like
concrete to cover the gaps Know what the
concrete stands for? Yeah, Cholesterol High Insulin ruins blood vessels which forces the body to try to fill the
gaps and save the day by adding Cholesterol Loads of Cholesterol that’s enough to
shrink a blood vessel! The vessel becomes
crammed with Cholesterol until it’s completely
blocked (a thrombosis) So what makes a thrombosis?
-Cholesterol Which comes from what?
-High Insulin Then it’s nonsense to advise people
with high Cholesterol to just stop fat! Instead,
advise them to reduce sugars and to eat less bread so Insulin levels could stay normal and
in turn, there would be no thromboses Get the idea? The real danger is in I have said that
like 100 times .. Sugar and Insulin So fat is totally
innocent in this case Now time for answering
your questions The first question is What should I eat instead of salt?
-Himalayan salt It contains all the
necessary minerals contains 0 Sodium doesn’t increase blood pressure totally perfect
for its low price it’s red like this It’s what I use instead of salt Second question: is there
something healthier than bread? Yes, you can use oats or rice flour Now the fourth and
most important question What is the
alternative to Sugar? Ah! There’re two important facts when
it comes to sugar alternatives First, any sugar alternative
tastes like real sugar which makes you
grow addicted to it When I talked about sugar before I said don’t let your tongue
get used to its taste! I hear someone says: but I can’t
drink coffee without sugar! Man, you sound like
a science teacher! Coffee without sugar
tastes like salt I can’t stand black coffee I’m not Austrian Alright, no problem First, you can add honey instead but only natural
honey (raw honey) Avoid honey with preservatives only buy from a trusted bee farm Two spoonfuls of
honey a day are enough Honey wouldn’t increase
insulin levels like pure sugar which is too dangerous Natural honey would
never harm you but still ..
no more than two spoonfuls It’s a miracle,
but you have to use it wisely Remember.. only two spoonfuls It’s not only about Insulin as honey is also abundant in
minerals, vitamins, and antibodies that reinforce
the immune system I guess you already
know how useful honey is Now let’s talk about dates It’s full of glucose,
and also abundant in Potassium In short it was prophet Muhammad’s
(P.B.U.H) favourite food Just split one in half
and put it in your tea coffee, or even cakes cake with oats for example I make good whey-protein
cakes by the way I guess I’m making my

bread with dates to get the full benefit of
vitamins, Potassium, and Zinc Besides high-fiber sugar that
doesn’t require Insulin to digest The third artificial sweetener
is aspartame (tablets) They say that 25 tablets are
enough to poison the liver but I don’t think that someone would
ever take 25 tablets in one day that would be insane! Fine! You can take up to 3 a day no problem with that Another one it’s so cheap by the way is Coconut Sugar a brown-colored and
low-calorie sugar that is full of antioxidants and doesn’t affect your Insulin I’m not sure whether it is
available in the Middle East or not it’s all over the markets here
but I’m not really into sugars The second important fact is that the
body reacts to these artificial sweeteners by preparing the digestive
system as if real sugar is coming sometimes Insulin
itself is triggered For real Artificial sweeteners sometimes trick your
body into increasing Insulin a little bit which in turn disturbs the
Insulin cycle of your body And then you wonder: but it
wasn’t even a real sugar! Actually, once your mind detects the taste
of sugar, your body prepares for real sugar Sugar is almost an addiction Final question:
what about water? Does drinking water during or
after a meal disturb digestion? Should I drink more
water to lose weight? Guys.. water has no
calories to begin with so it has nothing to do with your
weight or even digestion process and drinking like 5 liters daily
would only make you pee all the time Why waste your time?! Just drink when
you feel thirsty! But you know you really need to
drink when your urine turns dark as this happens
due to dehydration Urine shouldn’t be too white or even dark yellow It should be something
like light yellow So you can test your hydration by
simply checking the color of your urine You can drink water according to that,
and also when you feel thirsty of course What about drinking water
during or after a meal? In fact, there’s a special
room for food in your stomach besides a separate
path for fluids that go into bloodstream
after 30 minutes So drink water whenever you want as it
never mixes with food as you might think Now you can finally see the bigger picture!
